Usually in a writing test you do not recieve a mark for your presentation. This is also the case in the IELTS test. However, if your writing is too difficult to read for example if instead of writing on the lines you write through them and it is too difficult for the examiner to read, the assessment may be more negative. Try to write as neatly and clearly as possible. It is perfectly acceptable if you make a mistake to cross out the word and rewite it. Ask your teachers, friends, school mates or colleagues if they have any difficulty in reading your handwriting.
